Innovating Tanzania's Path to Inclusive Prosperity
The twelfth edition moved from planning to doing. Anchored in Dira 2050, five days at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre brought together government, development partners, startups, universities and industry to turn the national vision into results.
Across five days, 58 sessions were organised under five tracks (Engines of Growth, Digital Nation, Youth at the Helm, Green Ambition and Enabling the Leap) in Selous Hall, the Youth Dome and the Meru, Mkomazi, Ruaha and Mikumi halls, with satellite events in Iringa, Dodoma and at the Stanbic Biashara Incubator.
Dira 2050 sets the destination: a prosperous, equitable and self-reliant Tanzania. IWTz2026 was where that vision met the innovators, policymakers and investors who will turn it into results, in five days of doing rather than planning.

31 August to 4 September 2026 at JNICC, Dar es Salaam. Every session has its own page with host, time, venue, a calendar file and a link to its photo gallery.
Colours match the session cards above. Satellite sessions also took place in Iringa, Dodoma and at Stanbic Biashara Incubator.
